In accordance with Chapter 2.05, Title 2 of the Kern County Ordinance Codes, any organization that is not directly sponsored by a department or agency of Kern County must apply to the County Administrative Office for each proposed use of the County Seal or Logo.
Applications for use of the Kern County Seal or Logo must be submitted 30 days prior to the date on which intended use of the Seal or Logo is to commence.
Notification of the County Administrative Office’s decision will be made via the organization’s listed email contact within 2 weeks of receipt of the application.
Appeal of the County Administrative Office’s decisions may be made to the Board of Supervisors.
Note: Using the County Seal or County Logo for promotional/marketing materials or items to be sold is prohibited.
